Certified Manager Program (CPM)

This will give you an overview of the certification process and tell you where you can get more information and help with applying and preparing for the exams. To become certified:
1.
File an application with the Institute of Certified Professional Managers for an evaluation of your experience and education.
2.
Upon, approval of the application, successfully pass a three-part examination to receive the Certified Manager designation.

Our NCDOT Leadership and Management Development Association (LMDA) organizes and facilitates Group Study Series to help prepare for each of the three parts of the exam. These series are monitored and attended by experienced certified managers. These study groups form two or three times a year usually beginning in September, January, and April.
